Post #805 from MickG0105 has an article by Robyn Ironside indicating the Rex SAAB 340B fleet consists of 57 aircraft of which 25 are 'parked'. Before everything changes, I checked the Australian register and those 57 are still listed with "Regional Express Pty Ltd" consistently as the Registered Operator. The Registration holder varies across three of the Rex group companies as follows, in order of registration details:
Where in the company the aircraft are held, probably doesn't influence what will become of them. Their condition is obviously the important factor.
The only other SAAB 340's (also all 340B variants) currently on the Australian register are the 11 now operated by Vee H Aviation Pty Ltd (Link Airlines) of which 7 seem to be owned by Vee H while the other 4 are apparently leased aircraft.
