Rochester Airport has recently won a new lease to develop and operate Rochester airport. This secures the future of aviation at Rochester.
An opportunity has arisen for interested parties to purchase shares in the operating company. These shares are in small lots of £500 to allow small investors to have a part in the future of this historic community airfield.
I run the caff at Rochester, and I've sent off for info - not 'cos I want to make a killing, but because it might give us a chance to shake up the board and management who seem pretty b***dy apathetic after the 5 year extension was granted.
Despite producing the best airfield caff food in the South of England (if not the world), we make monthly losses through the winter 'cos wusses stop flying and the public simply don't know we're there. We need to move over to the Eastern side of the airfield, as do all the other airfield businesses, but nothing's happening....

ps. It's not me selling the shares. I think there are only 20 or so existing shareholders, so it's probably possible to work out who it is.
pps. On Saturday we have Lamb's liver hot pot, and Chicken Casserole. Sunday is roast turkey.
ppps. Correction: Samedi nous avons foie d'agneau et coq au vin, Dimance c'est Roti D'Inde (the missus, the cook, is French....)
pppps. The lack of the public does at least ensure that if you do find us, you know you're amongst aviators - 'twas Basil Fawlty who put up posters specifying 'no riff raff'.......
