Biscuit chucker I've already had something very similar happen to me on a minimum rest from rail. I simply told reception and they did take another 30 mins or so to do it. It was in fact the front desk receptionist who had to do it and I felt sorry for her but I was very ******ed too! The next time i stayed at the same hotel I received champagne chocolates complimentary dinner at a restaraunt bla bla. It was excellent service recovery but ...I'm not sure if we are all able to get this same kind of treatment even with airline staff staying at the larger hotels.
