That is hot. AMD says the thermal limit for the AthlonXP is 90C. Out Of Trim mentioned all the points of what you should check. It would help to know which motherboard you have along with the BIOS Revision. Also make sure the heatsink is mounted correctly and not 180 degrees out. (I does make a difference.)
