I’m not sure that I personally find kangaroo and bird hazards plus down drafts, no takeoff on 14 due to uphill slope and a mountain on upwind to be “safe”, however each to their own!
I had to do a go around there in a fairly high performing aircraft on 14 with 1 POB and I’ll tell you with the rising terrain underneath, it wasn’t a pleasant feeling!
