It’s a Skytrans AOC. They can’t have ACMI Pilots from Europe coming in and out doing this and that if they intend to operate domestic RPT. I know that is common in Europe across many counties, but they won’t allow that here. They need to be based here, with appropriate right to work, paying tax, and working for Skytrans. I don’t think anyone would bother doing that once they see cost of living here.
CASA wouldn’t let Bonza source crews via CAE or other pilot hiring contractors. All in house and locally or no dice.
However, with an appropriate offer to crews, I don’t think they whole have too many issues sourcing locally.
