Which schools have you researched? There are a number of schools based in the UK which have a great reputation, including in the London area if you would like to try and stay local.
Wings Alliance is also a very good place to start if you need to expand your search. It's a non-profit organisation that includes recommendations for flight schools and also holds regular webinars giving brilliant, non-biased advice.
