One wonders what they are doing to improve their logistics system, which will support these new formations. (Or won't, as things turned out in 2022...).
I am reminded of the 1980's initiative to create a 600 ship Navy for the USN. (John Lehman, James Web as Sec Navs among others) .While not a bad attempt, by the mid to late 90's the Manpower people were very clear (as were the logistics pros) that we weren't going to get there without a substantial structural change in recruiting and training, and equipping.
As it turns out, the Wall came down and the incentive vahished.
