Looking at this from the outside, and I'm not alone on this, it's hard not to be a little bit jealous. Granted, I'm sure getting old contracts back would be preferred, but I'm curious what the sentiment is surrounding this.
Yes and No. Nice to get some extra cash, but still a kick in the nuts. Flight Crew (pilots and cabin) get 7 weeks x (base salary + a bit of flight duty pay). Everyone else gets 7 weeks of their salary. So Flight Crew get %-wise significantly less profit share than the office workers.
