Aerial spraying of pesticides was common practice in the former German Democratic Republic (like in most ex eastern block countries) but not any more since the reunification nearly 35 years ago.
Well, as far as I know I can agree with that. I wasn't implying that it is being done using any specific tool. Just referring to the process only.
Btw I've seen myself the use of drones in some of the UK orchards. Also crop spraying but in a new way.
