Taking them to NZ could open open up a can of worms if they indeed became a useful working fleet. Wasn’t there some gloating over the Seasprite years ago in a similar scenario.
Or looking at it another way, I wonder if the New Zealanders will in future put less weight on achieving commonality with the ADF when it comes to their equipment acquisitions? That didn't work out so well for the Seasprites or NH90.
Incidentally, Wikipedia entry for Super Seasprite reports: "On April 24, 2023, the New Zealand MOD announced that they are seeking replacements for the Seasprite" with links to two sources.
