Avmed doesn’t have a “complete history” of many pilots, septugenarian, because many pilots withhold information, or don’t seek medical advice when in doubt, for (legitimate and reasonable) fear of Avmed’s damaging overreactions. And they’re using the data gathered for research.
Setting aside trivial issues like the lawfulness and ethics of what Avmed’s doing, it’s having perverse consequences.
