Personally, I think the Air Staff have too easily allowed themselves to be caught up in a cultural blip which likely wil not last, it will reverse and become an irrelevance. Then there'll be a review of where the RAF will have ended up by cravenly swallowing all this radical liberal nonsense. The military establishment, quite rightly, used to oppose such cultural challenges in times gone by. If they hadn't, I suppose Indian headbands, Kaftans and Backside length hair would have become de rigour, along with smoking Hash and endulging in Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, more than 50 years ago.
