Maybe they could put a donations tin down the bottom of the control tower for every time YMAV is Class G? Next thing we know, the Geelong locals will be doing burnouts on the taxiways totally unsupervised.
If we look at an A320 from SYD to AAV for the full service (Terminal Navigation, ARFF, Enroute and MET) then the flight costing would be $803.74. If the aircraft arrives outside of Tower hours then the flight costing would be $427.73, and if the aircraft arrives outside of Tower and ARFF hours then the flight costing would be $257.21.
Whether the charging regime is such that it can differentiate between Tower operating and Tower not operating would be anyone's guess.
