And from those 50 ATCs they're planning on training this year, you'd be lucky to get 5 rated. And that's 1/2 the number of trainees from a few years ago. And who's going to train them? Most of the experienced training staff took RIS and more have quit since then because of the toxic cesspool of a workplace. You could count the number of females in the area on one finger.
Indeed. Lack of suitably experienced Training Officers is a problem. AsA are required to have sufficient numbers of Training Officers, whether they do, or whether they are in the "right place" (location), or whether they are interested or motivated is another question.
