Some of the NOTAMS near the Gold Coast/northern NSW often state “OPS AT REDUCED CAPACITY”. The duty ATM has often advised me that there will be no impact on my flights. Maybe I was lucky at the times I flew through but what scale is the capacity reduction?
I understand that recently jet traffic from Sydney to Brisbane (basin ?) was restricted to one every 8 minutes. Whether this was TRA/TIBA or simply "Operational Restrictions" I don't know.
Such delays and restrictions ripple through the network and affects all agencies.
