I do acknowledge that Civil Air is very reliant on volunteers stepping up to be delegate and it's a hard gig.
Civil Air's charter is to advocate for the professional, technical and industrial needs of Australian Air Traffic Controllers and ATC Support Staff. From my experience, the membership was more focused on the loss of licence insurance and industrial issues, rather than strongly advocating professional development and technical enhancements.
