praising the USCG crew for keeping the aircraft salt water free
Following their little jaunt I very much doubt the aircraft was salt water free, some of the salt water may even have been generated in the cabin, but I know what you mean. Reminded of the crew who had a double engine failure over the beach as a result of salt encrustation on the compressors following such a rescue. Huge thumbs up to the Coast Guard, anyone engaged in SAR work gets my admiration for how they hang it all out at times.
