Yes, initially it’s a 12 month contract and renewable every year. It seems like this will be the future at AAI, 777. I think by the end of the year they’ll start another hiring drive because the hope is to have 2 more by february 2024. At AAI they prefer hiring than converting pilots from the other fleet so lots of opportunities for new hires. I don’t have any info on the pay but they are paid better than the 747 jockeys, I suspect the 747 to be totally retired in about 5-7 years .
