I wouldn't really call it bait and switch on the jump in price, just reality adjustment when they work out the actual costs such as shipping, distribution, billing, support etc. If the take up is not spectacular, there will be specials on offer as the satellites are up there already, sitting idle, and not bringing in revenue. AU$499 on-off for the dish and associated equipment, and a monthly fee of AU$99. How does this compare with the cost of Starlink in other places such as war torn Ukraine, etc?
