20 odd years ago, flying a Supercub (the original version of the aircraft used on the Roof top stunt) I was tasked with landing at Elevington to aerotow a glider out. Seeing how wide it was, I was tempted to land across the runway, just because. Then an piece of flying advice I’d received popped into my mind “Before you do something, write the accident report in your head.”
I decided that over-running a 10’000 feet runway in a Supercub would make me look really stupid.
