Yes I was one of the MAMS that you picked up at Gardermoen along with the Marines.

I was sat in the over wing emegency exit seat when the tyre exploded. Floor didnt half vibrate. Didnt know how serious the problem was until we saw the stewards taking the cushions etc off the hat racks.

Never seen so many blue flashing lights on landing at Brize.

Remember seeing one of the Marines climb out onto the starboard wing via the window exit. He saw how high it was, climb back into the aircraft and jumped down the emergency slide with the rest of us.

After the aircraft had been towed off the runway we were taken out to the aircraft by the DAMO. Saw the damage that the trye had caused to the wheel well - a he££ of a mess.
