All that means is that instead of just BA not getting in thr night before to operate the red eye there will now be 2 airlines unable to get in

In my experience the fog here is rarely as disruptive at night as it is in the morning. The big problem is normally early morning flights coming from the mainland being unable to get in. Least if the nightstop doesn't get in you've got a few hours the night before you leave to rearrange!
