I don't see how the nose gear could collapse if it was being pushed. A320 nose gear retracts forwards so, unless it sheared and went backwards, it must have been being pulled by the tug.
I also wonder if the forward fuselage will be "rippled" by the impact with the ground. Not exactly "minor" is it!
