The instruction leaflet clearly stated that before doing anything else, it was necessary to press the button which corresponded to the language you wished to use. But the idiot hadn't bothered to read it, switched it on and pressed '1'. Whereupon all the menus turned into Finnish.... He then spent the next 15 minutes trying to un-Finnish it, until I took the instruction leaflet off him and worked out how to reset it to English. "I'll take it from here, thanks - good bye!" was all I said....
Mine came from John Lewis and was delivered and installed by them, dreadful, they upended the box and lifted the lid off resulting in all the accessories etc dropping on the floor, then while fitting the mounting lugs to the back one of them dropped one, he picked it up, looked at it then was about to fit it when I asked to see it, he had broken one of the mounting lugs off it, I at that point rejected the TV….. this was a 4 grand TV… but what really rankled was the replacement, they for some reason “refunded me the 4K for the first TV” then took another 4K out of my account for the second, which meant for a few days my account was 8K down.
Last time I ever used John Lewis and never will again.
