Like many I've received a text from Gov UK telling me to consider renewing my passport as the EU rules have changed and less than 6months validity will be refused entry. I'm sure that should I do it now, I won't be credited the half year validity on the next 10 year passport, or is that incorrect ?
I've also read and heard anecdotal evidence suggesting that 'due to covid'
renewals are taking way longer than normal. Have any of the UK ppruners had experiences with regards to passport renewal in the last while ? Any info appreciated.
