On the subject of use of the radio by an unlicensed person I refer m'learned friends to Article 21(2) of the
ANO which permits a person to act as a Flight Radiotelephony Operator without holding a licence in certain circumstances.
WRT teaching your granny to fly, Article 64 looks like a good one to get you on if you let her do something stupid.
