That's a good point, the restriction to a maximum of 12 hours and only "to regain competence and familiarisation or to cover any specific differences associated with Part 21 SEP aeroplanes or TMGs" had, effectively, put the use of my NPPL on Part 21 aircraft out of my mind but you are absolutely right that it is still possible.
The answer to the question is not currently a simple yes/no one. I have edited my original answer so as to avoid any confusion. Thanks for pointing out ORS1471 which gives the full answer.
