Do you have to go by Gulf? The standard of service on flights eastwards from BAH/AUH/MCT has gone down the tubes in my opinion. Previously you has charming Irish/Canadian/Brit and Aussie Stewardesses with a good sprinkling of SE Asian beauties. Now you have those who can hardly speak a correct sentence of English although I understand their Hungarian, Romanian and Bulgarian is excellent.
