BTW, if You have expired ratings on your EASA for, let's say, 10 years on which you are also not current on the other ICAO licence, you don't have to go for a full type rating but it is up to the ATO to decide the amount of training required based on experience.
Typical example A380 guys with super expired A320/A330 ratings but with many hours on type. Refresher training, LPC and good to go.
