Anastasiadis is still at it again.
So, on the new website of OAA, he still has in his school’s description, the following false informations & even modified them.
1. Flight OPS are conducted in LGTS
2. 4 fleet- 2 SEPs & 2 MEP
3. SIM
4. transportation for students from their homes to the school, & from their homes to the aerodrome, & back.
5. School is owned by veteran airforce pilots, airline pilots etc
6. “friendly enviroment”
Unfortunately, some people would see all these plus the juicy “cheap” price & go to this school, unfortunately.
first of all, lemme break down the 6 false informations above before i hive you a full detail about OAA or HAA, whatever it is called now.
1. Flight OPS are conducted in LGTS(macedonia airport) = NO!!!!!!. All flight OPS for ATOs in N.Greece take place at LGAL(Alexandroupoli airport).Once upon a time, flight schools at SKG actually operated from LGTS as their major base,but Fraport asked all the aviation schools to cease operations from LGTS & move, back in 2018. Now fraport is the german authority that took over Greek airports back in 2017, from the control of Elliniko in exchange for €1.4B. When fraport took over, the system changed & restrictions became more stringent. Flight schools especially OAA & sometimes skies,were sometimes violating Maneuvering area regulations. Some SAA & OAA planes had some incidents on the maneuvering area, Stavros & a skies instructor ones had an altercation on the maneuvering area as well, it was this incident that made fraport to order everyone to move.
2. 4fleet= they indeed have 2 C172 SEPs,rented ofcourse. But OAA HAS NO MEPs,NOT EVEN RENTED.1 of the MEPs on OAA’s page,the black one,”belonged” to ionian aviation at Megara. The other MEP,the white one on their page is a scrap that hasn't been flown in years,& the owner is a privileged fellow that hardly comes around. If you pay stavros for Modular ATPL or integrated, mark this,when it is time for MEP trainjng,you will be semt to a guy with a MEP at megara, he will ask you to give him €5000 for him to train you. Meanwhile, Stavros already collected MEP fees from you. Those who go to OAA for MEP are the ones that are usually safe.
3. SIM= NO THEY DONT!!!. On OAA’s page, the FNPTII SIM displayed belongs to JetSIMS at Sparta,a long distance from the LGAV(E.Venizelos airport athens). They just send you to Athens all the way from LGAL, for a month to do the SIMS.But this isnt stated on the website.
4. Transportation from your home to the airport “sometimes. Transportation from your home to the academy- well, on your first day, yes.
5. OAA is owned by only 1 person- former Hellenic Airforce flight instructor Stavros Anastasiadis.
6. Friendly enviroment=After you do your first solo or after some payments have been made, things just start to get weird. Stavros is a millitary man, he is well versed in the art of “divide & rule”. If he sees that a particular student is getting too clever in his activities, he finds ways to stir the minds pf other students & frustrate the person.
