I hope that
dwlpl is right, as the absence of air services between Liverpool and London has always struck me as something of an anomaly - you only have to try and get a seat on a Euston-Lime Street train to see that the market clearly exists.
It's a bit of a red herring to think of Manchester and Liverpool in isolation - taken as a whole, the people of the North West and further afield can only benefit from expansion at
either Ringway or Speke.
That's
got to be a good thing!
