I reckon someone who is retired and doesn't need the income - but also simultaneously has a valid flight instructor rating - might not be that interested in a gig that offers multiple night stays in regional areas at short notice, and changed plans at the drop of a hat, while instructing the owner and cleaning the aircraft afterwards, and ensuring that it is ready whenever the passengers show up. They're obviously looking for someone flexible, but most jobs don't involve that much bending over.
