What i dont understand is that if the company removed your water and your balpa team stepped in and stopped it, isnt it a good job they were there?
Maybe if they hadnt been there the company would have just done it anyway. What could happen then?
How often do other union teams (in other companys) change? It seems a good idea to change the faces regularly to keep up the motivation and enthusiasm.
I used to work (not very long ago) in a different industry where our (small) union seemed to spend a lot of its time fighting to keep things the same. It sounds daft but its better than letting things get worse surely.
Did the guy going for the managment job get it? Just curious.
