OzzieO is of course absolutely correct. If you come over looking to work in this industry you will find that there are are at least two different levels of job with reference to T&C's, wages and sheer quality of life. The aforementioned BA, and then everybody else (although with the loco's, there could be an argument for saying that there are 3 levels). Over the past years there has been a reduction in the margin between the levels, but the gap remains substantial.
Of course, the gap will remain only as long as BA can afford for it to do so. Moral: Look closely and think carefully before joining any company.
