I was a member of 86F ATC squadron from 1966-1969. Situated behind Hounslow East tube station. I remember a link trainer we had there but don’t remember the Tiger Moth. However looks like a good rebuild.
P.S The F in 86F stood for a founding squadron when the ATC was inaugurated in around 1941ish
86 Squadron wasn’t a Founding ATC Squadron, only the first 50 were entitled to the (F) suffix. Mine was 27(F) Chingford Squadron; out of the original 50 there are only 30 remaining. Those that disbanded and reformed aren’t entitled to the (F) designation eg 40 Squadron
