India now has surplus local Captains after closure of Jet Airways, also the Covid 19 Pandemic sent a lot of Expat Indian crew back home unemployed. Air India/Indian Airlines Crew also bailing out due to long delayed salaries and trying to join IndiGo.
IndiGo Expat ATR Captains who were not yet line released were also sent home. Situation in IndiGo is not good for remaining ATR Expats and also local Pilots with mandatory pay cuts for all Crew members.
Economic, labour and health situation is worsening in India. Expats should keep themselves in the loop. So many stranded Expats and Tourists trying to leave the Country since April only.
