I think that's correct below 1000AAL I'd have to check. It's certainly happy at -1800fpm at higher altitudes. That's why the OP sounds like it's looking OK then gets high on the VASI
What does your company say about this approach? In a previous life I have flown there. KTM was regarded as a Category C airport, necessitating special training.
A requirement from the Nepal CAA is that you have flown the approach and dept in the sim.
And the considerations for the approach don't end at the minima....
