i flew a contract for electra airlines in greece (thro company called air-scotland) and had 2sit same medcal- licence exams that you would need 2 sit in italy-very very tough!!! (you get a cabin crew licence-dont you!)
swimming is very easy- jump in pool-swim up and down, save someone and pull them from 1 end 2 other! no rafts etc onboard ezy! medical would need 2 b done by doctor- very easy & basic....as long as ur fit & healthy..contacts fine, although couldnt comment on wot kind of vision requirements r needed?
thats all i can think of- advantage that u speak ur own language & also english! you would get extra bonus in wages for 2nd/3rd language skills....as said good luck again!
