what about the swimming part ? is it hard? and the medical? i have contacts, here in italy it's ok because before starting a ground training, we must first pass a medical examination in the place where pilots get their (we have the same requirements as private pilots). I had interviews with alitalia....but they said my eyesight was too bad for them :-((
