Further, all this bid back, can’t bid across stuff...Historically, most type changes were driven by the desire for more money/less work. Fatigue, if it existed, was seemingly managed by compensation otherwise there would be a mountain of reports. There isn’t, or at least isn’t from the A380 fleet.
On the odd occasion I’ve met those that can’t sleep on the aircraft. I would imagine this would pose a problem for more than just the individual. That pilot will have to be transferred to a more suitable fleet. So choose wisely, but it won’t be as iron clad if a genuine reason arises.
