All these "new FO positions" that will be opened up with the A350 will be to some degree SO's coming from the more senior fleets (380/747) and if you think for one minute that the company wont be hiring the future guys and gals that you are selling out directly onto the 380 then you're kidding yourself. If the music stops (or when Sunrise reverts back to 1/1/2 crew) then if I was you I'd rather have the ability to head to the 380 still available. Don't vote yourself into that permanent 330 SO spot too quickly!

They made it pretty clear that the SO's will be hired either directly into mainline, or into another entity.
I bet you any money the package they get will be a lot better in mainline, then a new entity.
It doesn't matter which way we go, new hire SO's are going to lose out either way. At least with a yes vote, we get to keep the sunrise flying in house.
I know which way I (and many many new joiners) will be voting.
