Yes it is the first one. It’s supposed to do everything but I like having access to the router and with their set up they have to do everything. So I asked them to turn the routing off and they did and it worked for a while now the problems are back. As far as connecting the two no ports on the back say anything on the Gateway other than 10/100/1000. I have tried it in all and tested speed with little to no change. I’ve also connected straight to the Gateway and tested speed and get no change. When I was downloading a game a month ago it was faster to use the hotspot on my phone..
