This deal falls short in two areas. Both pay and fatigue.
Most importantly for me is asking the question. Can I do this kind of flying sustainably without dying far too young? No one is keen to do the tours of duty that Project Sunrise will do. Maybe once but not 2-3-4 times a roster till your 65.
Secondly to fly something that Narendra Kumar has said in a webinar is an A380 replacement then the pay must also be adequate for a replacement type.
Qantas are pushing the growth line now but they won’t give any guarantees that it’s nothing but an A380 replacement.
Current deal has you working too hard with no acknowledgement of how difficult Sunrise will be on the body. And the pay isn’t good enough.
