I wouldn't go that far. There will always be willing and able bodies. If it means promotion or even simply employment - you'll have a conga-line. Once they start to suffer the metabolic and cognitive consequences from it however - no amount of 'compensation' will suffice. You're in the fast-lane to accelerated mortality. The research literature is now pervasive. Please don't chase the coin, for that will be of no use to you when your health declines. Chase what really matters - minimising the deleterious effects this new flying will serve through other terms that focus rest, recovery and rejuvenation. It is the only thing that will matter. Not a few extra (and immaterial) post-tax dollars. I don't hear much about this. You must deeply care about it. Your health is all you have.
