Like I already posted, we let the fueler communicate directly with the senior purser, which has the qualifications mentioned in those rules you post.

Agreed not necessarily a pilot, and indeed preferably not a pilot who has better things to be doing.
But by any interpretation the guy pumping the fuel cannot comply with the following para.>>

one qualified person should remain at a specified location during fuelling operations with passengers on board. This qualified person should be capable of handling emergency procedures concerning fire protection and firefighting"
Especially if he’s already cremated.

So I’m guessing your airline has found a neat but maybe illegal manner of compliance?
How does the refueled communicate with a purser?
Not being picky! Genuinely trying to find an airline that has found a way of legally circumventing these rules?
