Not quite sure what relevance Delta's organised labour relationship has.
Delta's philosophy was traditionally to pay more than many others and foster a culture more conducive to not requiring union presence.
That isn't necessarily the case anymore as the mode of relationship is more adversarial and as a result, employees seek representation.
That a bonus is being spread among the employees is likely due the fact that airlines are a big team sport.
