I agree with what others have said. Listen to your heart and recognize that you always have the opportunity to change direction in life. Part of being a professional pilot is making difficult choices, and sometimes making choices that go against what everyone else thinks.
Some basic things aviation has taught me:
- Don't throw good money after bad
- You only live once, make the most of it
- An unhappy pilot degrades the effectiveness of the whole crew
You tried to accomplish something. Feel good about that. Now go live your passion.
