Wasn’t Tino up in Chicago just recently ?
The story I heard is the Boeing offering for Project Sunrise was 777-9’s with Boeing offering to pay for the blockage of seats
to achieve range as an interim solution until the 777-8 is/ maybe built .
Also heard that the Qantas masters of the universe tried to screw Boeing even further on the conditions on the deal only to be told “ This is the deal , if you don’t like it try Airbus , good luck ! “ .
Or words to that effect .
