Minimum should be Capt, 2 FOs and one SO. Capt gets whatever break they want, F/Os sort among themselves to ensure one of them is fresh at the start and one at the end (however they sort it under the Captain's approval) and the SO gets what's leftover.
Management would hate this however, as it presumably hasn't t been factored in to their ‘model but it is the minimum with current QF crew qualifications to ensure the front seat pilots are as fresh as possible both at the start and at the end of the flight.QUOTE]
Where, pray tell, is the oversight and input from the Licencing Authority i.e CASA?
Is this not their Obligation, Duty of Care and Responsibility?
Agree with all above, obligation is to their shareholders, duty of care is a foreign concept in Qantas , and responsibility is to ensure that they get as fatter bonuses as possible.
